From 21 to 24 September 2023, the exhibition halls in Hamburg will once again become a hotspot for photography enthusiasts. Already for the third time, PHOTOPIA HAMBURG invites you to experience the world of photography in all its facets, and the GDT will be there again this year! As a new cooperation partner of PHOTOPIA HAMBURG, we are offering visitors our own area for the first time: FAR AND WILD.
There you can expect exciting, funny and interesting offers around nature photography. In a cozy atmosphere you can chat with members of the GDT board and other experienced nature photographers, talk shop and finally ask the questions that have been burning under your nails for a long time.
Don't miss this event and dive together with us into the fascinating world of nature photography! We are looking forward to welcoming you at PHOTOPIA HAMBURG!

In our area FAR AND WILD you will find a comfortable info-lounge with the possibility for a lively exchange with like-minded people and a library with selected works of famous nature photographers to browse through. In keeping with the flair of the port city, we will present an exhibition in overseas containers, including a selfie box where you can round off your stay with a souvenir photo.
On the adjoining show stage we will show in cooperation with the FF-Fotoschule in a colorful four-day lecture program what modern nature and travel photography has to offer. The program will soon be available here and in more detail on the Photopia website.
OUR EXHIBITION AT PHOTOPIA
The beauty and diversity of nature inspires us to capture and share moments that often take our breath away. Photopia Hamburg provides us with an ideal platform to showcase stunning shots from our European Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition on overseas containers, tell stories behind the images, and infect others with our enthusiasm for nature photography.
OUR PHOTOWALKS
We also offer nature photography photowalks with our GDT members Sandra Bartocha, Sylvia Knittel und Jon A. Juarez as part of the PHOTOPIA ACADEMY. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to capture exciting nature motifs under professional guidance, try out new ways of composition and further develop your techniques!
