Jim Brandenburg | Honorary Member of GDT & Fritz Steiniger Prize Recipient
With great sadnes, we say goodbye to Jim Brandenburg - one of the most influential nature photographers of our time, and a person whose impact reached far beyond his images and influenced a whole generation of nature photographers.With his photographs and films, he not only celbrated the beauty of nature but always stood up for its protection.
In 2007, the GDT had the honour of presenting him with the Fritz Steiniger Prize - our highest recognition for outstanding contributions to nature photography.
His legacy remains. His images remain. His spirit remains.
